GFlow -

  • Written with Python to use the Bioblend API to automate bioinformatics workflows with Galaxy
  • Included a thorough amount tests, error handling, and helpful logging

Waterbear -

  • Replaced the audio library being used for this visual programming language
  • With Javascript I created new blocks for making music and sounds with

Leap Maestro -

  • A Theremin-like synthesizer instrument made for use with a Leap Motion device
  • Improved on the Theremin by using scale-grids and more textured synth sounds

Teaching Assistant Web Portal -

  • Created a relational database with MySQL and attached a web interface using HTML, CSS, and PHP
  • Developed and deployed on an AWS instance provided by Western University


Laurene Patterson Estate Scholarship: Awarded in November 2014 to a Western Science student who has shown outstanding academic merit

Best Audio Product: Awarded upon graduation from Fanshawe College in April 2012 for a recording of an original song
